Gary Elwood Dahlgren, age 71 of Walnut Grove, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Sanford Tracy Medical Center in Tracy. Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 27 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walnut Grove. Visitation will be 2:30 p.m. until time of the service at church. Gary Elwood Dahlgren was born December 2, 1947 to Elwood and Virginia (Nichols) Dahlgren in Tracy. He graduated from Walnut Grove High School in 1965. Gary enjoyed cleaning up at the Laura Ingalls Wilder Pageant and watching the Twins and Vikings on television. He considered the people of Walnut Grove a part of his family.
Gary is survived by his nieces Lynn (Randy) Gardner of Chrisman, IL, Kari (David) Baird of Georgetown, IL, and Lisa (Bill) Young of Chrisman, IL; special friend Bonnie Huebsch; and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Jillene Franz.
