Let’s Talk About Colon Cancer
Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in the U.S. among men and women combined. Yet, with proper screening, it can be prevented or detected at an early stage. Regular screening and early detection can save lives. During this free virtual event, you will learn about colorectal cancer prevention and screening options. Participants who are eligible can have a free at-home colorectal cancer screening kit mailed to them.
Springfield and Lamberton Flu Shot Clinics
Allina Health is pleased to announce that flu shot clinics will be offered at various dates at both Springfield Clinic and Lamberton Clinic. These clinics will take place on Friday, October 1 - 8AM to 4PM, Tuesday, October 5 - 8AM to 5PM, Tuesday, October 12 - 1PM to 5PM, and Wednesday, October 20 - 1PM to 5PM at Springfield Clinic, and Wednesday, October 6 - 8AM to 12PM and Wednesday, October 13 - 1PM to 5PM at Lamberton Clinic. Beginning Experience Rebuilding Series
Widowed, Divorced, Separated? Beginning Experience SW Minnesota is offering the Rebuilding Series for ten weeks beginning October 4, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. at the First Lutheran Church on Church and “A” Street in Marshall, MN. The support group is open to people of all denominations. There is a fee of $75 to cover the cost of materials. This series is designed for those who are past the initial pain of losing a partner and are working to put their lives back together. Jewel was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in May 2021. It has been a crazy whirlwind of events that one can never be prepared for. She is currently in chemotherapy with more procedures to come. Her faith is strong. Jewel and her family would like to thank everyone for continued thoughts and prayers. The power of prayer is everything!
