This will be the third annual drag show hosted by Marshall Pride, Saturday, June 8th @7 pm. Come check out an incredible night of performance, music, dance, and community. Featuring performers including crowd favorites like Dakota Hunter, Dixon Ice, Rose Nylon, Pippin Panic, and Jojo Venus Ninja! June is pride month, and the Marshall community is invited to celebrate the annual Pride in the Park Sunday, June 9th, from 10 am - 4 pm. A family friendly event, enjoy the food trucks, vendor fair, mural painting with the Big Buddies Program, ceramic figure painting with artist Kelly Hager, and other arts & craft activities. Plus live music throughout the event from the Mad Hatters, Purpose Artisans, Nautical Moth, & the Marshall Area Stage Company! Summer is here and it's time to get those clubs out and hit the course! What better way to do so than by supporting Bridging Brown County during their first annual Networking Golf tournament on Tuesday, June 11th at the Springfield Golf Course. Check in is at noon, with a 1:30 pm shotgun start following. Format: 9-holes, four-person best ball. Monday, June 17th, head to Lincoln County VFW Post 2980 for a VFW Supper, serving from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Menu includes multiple options: Pork Chop Dinner - $15, Country Fried Steak - $12, Chicken Fried Steak - $12, & Beef Commercial - $10. Each option served with Irish potatoes, baked beans, salad, & bun.

Down the street and across the country, there are always patients in need of blood. Every two seconds someone needs blood in the U.S. You can help save lives by donating blood through the American Red Cross at the Minneota blood drive on June 19 from 1PM to 7PM at the American Legion in Minneota. There are free Intro to Pickleball Lesson's Wednesday, June 19th, @6 pm at the Legion Field Courts in Marshall. No experience is necessary, paddles and balls provided. Athletic shoes and clothing is recommended. The Free intro lesson instruction is being provided by the Marshall Area Pickleball players. Come to The Hitching Post and enjoy a night of steak dinner with live music while supporting Marshall's Sounds of Summer. Thursday, June 20th, 6 - 9 pm. Cost is $50 per ticket and includes the meal along with live music from The Singing Q's. Meal includes a salad bar, baked potato bar, steak, & drinks. A limited number of tickets are available.
