Certified Nursing Assistant Training
The Southwest Minnesota Private Industry Council in cooperation with Adult Basic Education and Marshall Area Technical & Educational Center have openings for adults to enroll in Nursing Assistant Training that will lead to a Certification from the MN Department of Nursing. The class Introduces concepts of basic human needs, health/illness and basic nursing skills. Introduction to home care. Including care of child, reporting procedures, caring for special populations, homemaking skills and hospice care in a nursing home. Logger Bar Bingo
Weekly Bar Bingo at Walnut Grove American Legion will repeat on a weekly basis starting on November 6th. The Walnut Grove Area Loggers are sponsoring the weekly Saturday Night Bingo. Starting @ 6:30 pm every Saturday, from Nov. 6th, 2021 thru Dec. 18th, 2021 you can come down to the Walnut Grove American Legion for Bar Bingo with friends.

Linda Chatterton & Rachel Brandwein Flute & Harp Duo Performance
The Flute and Harp Duo of Linda Chatterton and Rachel Brandwein will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, November 12th in the Fine Arts Theatre at Southwest Minnesota State University. The performance is free and open to the public. (In order to protect the health and safety of the performers, our students and faculty, and of the community at large, masking is required on the campus of SMSU.
