Balaton Woman Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision Near Fairfax

FAIRFAX -- A Balaton woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday in Renville County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. TRACY, MN — A Marshall man armed with a handgun was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon after making public threats, prompting a lockdown of local schools and a coordinated search involving multiple law enforcement agencies in Tracy. MARSHALL — The Minnesota Nurses Association (MNA) has condemned the arrest of Aditya Wahyu Harsono, a hospital employee detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center, where MNA represents staff. Three-Vehicle Collision Reported Near Marshall; No Injuries

MARSHALL – The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a three-vehicle collision Tuesday evening near the intersection of 310th Avenue and County Road 6. The incident occurred around 8:59 p.m., involving a 2015 Ford pickup, a 2019 Toyota Camry, and a 2021 Chevy Traverse—all traveling eastbound. Authorities say the 19-year-old driver of the Camry, from Tracy, attempted to pass and sideswiped the Ford, driven by a 39-year-old man from Walnut Grove. MARSHALL -- Marshall Community Services (MCS) has introduced a gift card program that can be used toward community education (excluding Early Childhood Family Education), recreation classes, and seasonal memberships for the Marshall Aquatic Center or Red Baron Arena & Expo.
