CLARA CITY – A Boyd man was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Thursday near Clara City in Chippewa County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 8:34 Thursday evening, a 2016 Hyundai Elantra was traveling southbound on Highway 23 and a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan was traveling westbound on Highway 7 when the vehicles collided in the intersection. 

The driver of the Dodge, 74-year-old Charles Border of Boyd, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Avera-Granite Falls hospital. 

The driver of the Hyundai, a 17-year-old Willmar boy, and his passenger, a 16-year-old Granite Falls boy, were not injured.
