Sometimes we hype a movie in our head so much that it couldn't possibly live to the expectation... and sometimes the movie in question was so bad to begin with it wouldn't have made a difference. Netflix is rebooting "Little House on the Prairie".  The original series told the KIND OF true story of the Ingalls family, who lived on a farm in Minnesota in the late 1800s.   It was loosely based on the books of Laura Ingalls Wilder, and it ran from 1974 to 1983.   A Netflix exec says the new version will be, quote, "part hopeful family drama, part epic survival tale, and part origin story of the American West."   There's no word yet on casting or a start date.   The original series streams on Peacock, where people watched more than [...]
