MINNEOTA, Minn. — Boxelder Bug Days will return to Minneota this weekend, with three days of activities planned September 11-13.
The celebration begins Friday night with a performance by Danica Michaels at 8 p.m. on the main stage.
Saturday features a full schedule of events, including a tractor show, Family Fun Run/Walk, parade, sand volleyball, the Vietnam Memorial Center, kids’ tractor pull, pickleball, chili cook-off and tasting, inflatables, bean bags tournaments and the Route 68 Big Band.
Saturday evening entertainment includes performances by Up South, Ali Gray and Queen Coronation, followed by a street dance featuring Casey Muessigmann. Courtesy van rides will be provided Saturday night.
Sunday activities include the Firemen’s Pancake Breakfast, Bloody Mary Bar, community worship service, Vietnam Memorial and History Center, Friends of the Library Pie Sale and Ali Gray’s Country Jamboree. A parade is scheduled for 1 p.m., followed by additional activities including barrel racing, Ali Gray’s Jamboree, cartway carriage rides and a golf ball roll.
Musical guests throughout the weekend include Kayla Danielson, Casey Muessigmann, Danica Michaels and the Route 68 Big Band.
