UNDATED (LEARFIELD) - More than two people are killed every day on U.S. roads by impatient and reckless drivers blowing through red lights. Mark Peterson is with Triple-A Minnesota: "There were 939 people killed in red light-running crashes in 2017," said Peterson. "That's a 10 year high with a 28 percent increase since 2012." He adds that he’s concerned. "This is something that deserves our attention when you look at a body count like that," said Peterson. "This is very disturbing." Peterson says changes in driver behavior is key to reducing the number of red-light running crashes.
