It’s fantasy football time, and if your league hasn’t held its draft yet, you might want to listen to this list of 14 players you should avoid.
1. Sam LaPorta, Tight End, Detroit Lions.
2. Mark Andrews, Tight End, Baltimore Ravens.
3. Alvin Kamara, Running Back, New Orleans Saints.
4. James Conner, Running Back, Arizona Cardinals.
5. Joe Mixon, Running Back, Houston Texans.
6. Marvin Harrison Jr., Wide Receiver, Arizona Cardinals.
7. Lamar Jackson, Quarterback, Baltimore Ravens.
8. Omarion Hampton, Running Back, Los Angeles Chargers.
9. Xavier Worthy, Wide Receiver, Kansas City Chiefs.
10. RJ Harvey, Running Back, Denver Broncos.
11. Baker Mayfield, Quarterback, Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
12. Chris Olave, Wide Receiver, New Orleans Saints.
13. Brian Robinson Jr., Running Back, San Francisco 49ers.
14. Jonnu Smith, Tight End, Pittsburgh Steelers.
For the record, nobody’s saying these are bad players, or that they’re going to suck this year.
It’s all about ADP, which stands for Average Draft Position. It’s basically a rating of a player’s value in the draft.
The thinking is that these players are rated TOO HIGH, and if you pick them at their ADP, you could be passing up better opportunities.
