ST. PAUL (KMHL) – The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced $13.2 million in investments to improve water and wastewater infrastructure in five rural communities – including two in the area.
Dumont will receive a $1.1 million grant and a $200,000 loan, while the City of Wood Lake received a $1.9 million grant and a $1.5 million loan.
USDA Rural Development State Director Brad Finstad said the investments will help replace and construct critical infrastructure and ensure the communities have reliable drinking water and wastewater management.
