[LEARFIELD](Winona, MN) — The search for 26-year-old Madeline Kingsbury of Winona continues in southeastern Minnesota, but authorities are scaling back the large volunteer effort. Winona Police Chief Tom Williams says nearly 2,000 people helped look for Kingsbury on Friday and another 700 volunteers searched the area on Saturday. Williams says they were able to cover substantially more ground in a shorter amount of time than expected. Agents from the Minnesota BCA remain in the area assisting local investigators in Winona and Fillmore counties. Kingsbury was last seen the morning of Friday, March 31st after dropping her kids off at day care. A $50,000 reward is offered for information that leads to Madeline.
