GREEN VALLEY – A Granite Falls woman was hospitalized after her vehicle struck a deer, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 9:45 Sunday evening, a 2016 Kia Optima was traveling northbound on Highway 23 near Green Valley in Lyon County when it struck a deer.
The driver of the Kia, 18-year-old Tianna Marie Wright of Granite Falls, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Granite Falls hospital.
Assistance was provided by the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office and Cottonwood Ambulance.
