SHAKOPEE, MN — Valley Fair amusement park has reopened its Renegade and Excalibur rollercoasters after temporary closures due to flooding. The rides were reinstated following thorough safety inspections, ensuring their readiness for visitors.

The closures occurred when the Minnesota River crested in Shakopee in late June, submerging the park’s parking lots. With the waters receded, onsite parking has also resumed.

Additionally, the high water levels prompted the postponement of the Fourth of July fireworks celebration.
