MARSHALL — State Senator Gary Dahms has announced a series of town hall meetings across southwest Minnesota this month alongside State Representatives Chris Swedzinski and Paul Torkelson.

Town hall meetings with Swedzinski will take place Thursday, May 21, beginning in Tracy from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. at Tracy City Hall Council Chambers, 336 Morgan Street. The group will then stop in Marshall from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at the YMCA, 200 South A Street, in an event sponsored by the Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce.

Additional stops include Minneota from 10:20 to 11:00 a.m. at City Hall, 129 East 1st Street; Canby from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at City Hall, 110 Oscar Avenue North; Madison from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. at the City Hall Auditorium, 404 Sixth Avenue; Dawson from 2:45 to 3:30 p.m. at the City Building, 675 Chestnut Street; and Granite Falls from 4:15 to 5:00 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, 641 Prentice Street.

Town hall meetings with Torkelson are scheduled for Wednesday, May 27. The first stop will be in Sleepy Eye from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. at the Community Center, 115 Second Avenue Northeast. Meetings will continue in New Ulm from 8:45 to 9:30 a.m. at the Public Library, 17 North Broadway Street; Comfrey from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. at the Community Center, 120 Brown Street East; and Springfield from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Community Building Parkview Room, 33 South Cass Avenue.

Afternoon meetings on May 27 include Lamberton from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. at City Hall, 112 Second Avenue West; Belview from 3:00 to 3:45 p.m. at City Hall, 202 South Main Street; and Redwood Falls from 4:15 to 5:00 p.m. at the City Library, 509 South Lincoln Street.
