Val Kilmer’s portrayal of Doc Holliday in the 1993 Western “Tombstone” is LEGENDARY. And in an interview just last year, Kurt Russell, who played Wyatt Earp, said he was “great” to work with.
He also revealed that they exchanged gifts after the film wrapped that are kind of dark in retrospect, but pretty cool.
Kurt gave Val a BURIAL PLOT in Boothill cemetery in Tombstone, Arizona . . . which is famously the resting place for several famous Old West figures.
And Val gave Kurt a plot of land OVERLOOKING Boothill. (???)
Kurt said, quote, “Doc Holliday was all about death, but Wyatt’s all about life. I guess that pretty much says it all.”
On a related, and sadder, note . . . TMZ says Val was very frail and confined to his bed during the last few years of his life.
