Believe it or not, Halloween is TOMORROW . . . and it’s bad enough if you’ve waited this long to figure out a KID’S costume, but if YOU need something for a party, event, or just to hand out candy, what’s YOUR plan???

Don’t sweat it.  MentalFloss.com has DOZENS of “simple D.I.Y. Halloween costumes for last-minute” procrastinators.  Here are a few highlights:

1.  Ghost:  Have a spare sheet?  Cut out eye holes, pull it over your head.

2.  Tourist:  Hawaiian shirt, sunglasses, a camera, and a paper map.

3.  Burglar:  A black-and-white striped shirt, a beanie, and a ski mask.  A black hoodie and a bag slung over your shoulder will also suffice. But if this is your fit, maybe stick to well-lit streets so no one gets the wrong idea.  (???)

4.  Detective:  A trench coat, a magnifying glass, and a notebook.

5.  ’80s Icon:  A leotard over leggings, leg warmers, and a matching headband.

6.  Bunch of Grapes:  Tape a bunch of purple or green balloons to an outfit.

7.  Fried Egg:  A large egg-shaped blob cut from a piece of white cardboard or fabric, plus a yellow blob on top for the yolk.

8.  Popcorn:  A cardboard box with red and white stripes painted on, with crumpled-up yellow paper on top.

9.  Gumball Machine:  Grab some superglue and attach a bunch of colorful ping pong balls to a white shirt.

10.  “Cereal Killer“:  Attach some miniature cereal boxes to a shirt, and add a prop knife and some fake blood.

11.  “Ceiling Fan”:  A few pom-poms, and a shirt with “Go Ceiling!” on it.

12.  “Copycat”:  Just add a stack of photocopies or a sign reading “CTRL+C” to your black cat costume.

13.  “Chef’s Kiss”:  A white chef’s jacket, stamped with lipstick kisses.

14.  Wednesday Addams:  A black dress, black stockings, braided pigtails, and just have a deadpan expression.

15.  Dwight Schrute:  A mustard button-down shirt, brown tie, glasses, and a large mug.

16.  Mary Poppins:  A white blouse, dark skirt, red bow tie, and an umbrella will prepare you to “offer spoonfuls of sugar to every trick-or-treater.”

17.  Dolly Parton:  A blonde wig, a pink hat, boots, a guitar, and sparkles.

18.  Mummy:  Drape some strips of white fabric over neutral clothes.

19.  Haunted Doll:  Vintage dress, pigtails, pale makeup with rosy cheeks and a red lip.  Painted-on cracks will really sell it.

20.  Mad Scientist:  A lab coat, lab glasses, some wildly teased hair, and a few jars filled with colorful water.
