TRACY – Two people are dead and two are injured after a crash occurred Wednesday evening on Highway 14 between Tracy and Walnut Grove, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 8:29 Wednesday evening, a 2002 Toyota Sienna was traveling southbound on Balsa Avenue and a 2005 Toyota Sequoia was traveling eastbound on highway 14 when they collided in the intersection.
The driver of the Sienna, 55-year-old Maiyang Moua of Tracy, and her passenger, 67-year-old Saibert Moua of Tracy, both died from injuries sustained in the accident.
The driver of the Sequoia, 48-year-old Victor Lee of Walnut Grove, and his passenger, 40-year-old Kia Xiong of Walnut Grove, both sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the Marshall hospital.
Assistance was provided by the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Walnut Grove Fire and Ambulance, and Tracy Ambulance.
