ST. PAUL (LEARFIELD) — Two Minnesotans suspected of contracting coronavirus have tested negative and are out of home quarantine. Both individuals had recently traveled to Wuhan (WOO-hahn), China.
State health officials say they continue to receive inquiries from physicians but do not have any additional suspected cases under investigation at this time.
There are more than 27-hundred confirmed cases of coronavirus, but the doctors say 44-thousand people have probably been infected in Wuhan alone. Experts estimate that the number of infections is doubling every six days.
Infections have been reported in countries around the world, including at least five in the U-S.
