MARSHALL — Last week, Marshall was surprised by the sudden closure of its Taco John’s restaurant on East College Drive, now listed for sale online. Similarly, the Worthington branch has shut down. By May 2nd, Marshall’s Taco John’s was empty, with sign letters being removed on Monday. Both properties hit the market on Tuesday via Crexi, with Marshall’s priced at $700,000 and Worthington’s at $550,000. Though these locations are no longer on Taco John’s website, other nearby branches remain operational in Luverne, Fairmont, New Ulm, Brookings, and Sioux Falls.
