MARSHALL, MN – The Marshall Area YMCA’s annual Shamrock Shuffle 5K is scheduled for March 15. The event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities, covering a 3.1-mile course from the YMCA to Brau Brothers Brewery.
Participants who register by February 18 will receive a Shamrock Shuffle beanie. Finishers will also receive a Brau Brothers drink ticket, valid on race day. A Virtual 5K option is available for those who prefer an indoor setting, with a free day pass provided to non-members at the Marshall Area YMCA on March 15.
Race day check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. at the YMCA lobby, with the last shuttle to the start line departing Brau Brothers at 10:15 a.m. The course will be guided by volunteers, with a water station at the halfway mark. While not chip-timed, a finish line timer will be available for reference.
Strollers, walkers, and leashed dogs are allowed, and participants are encouraged to wear green. Proceeds from the event will support programs and services at the Marshall Area YMCA.
