MARSHALL — On Wednesday at 7:32 in the morning, a two-vehicle accident was reported near the intersection of State Highway 23 and East College Drive. A 2005 Toyota being driven by a 45-year-old Marshall man was traveling westbound on State Highway 19 towards East College Drive and a 2006 Peterbilt semi being driven by a 42-year-old man from Ocheyedan, IA, was traveling northbound on State Highway 23 when the vehicles collided in the intersection. 

The driver of the Toyota may have suffered a medical emergency, according to police, but suffered no apparent injuries from the collision and was taken to Avera Marshall for further evaluation. He was also cited for driving after cancellation. 

The driver of the Peterbilt was not injured.
