A celebration of life service for Peter Haugen, 44, of Taunton MN will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June, 8th 2021, at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Marshall MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Remembrance Center and a cake and coffee fellowship will follow. Casual dress preferred.
Peter Daniel Haugen was born on December 24, 1976 in Golden Valley MN. He grew up in the area including Marshall and Lucan and graduated from the Minnewaska Area High School in Glenwood, MN. Peter lived in Fergus Falls and was married to Emilyn. The couple had two children: Maezyn and Zairek. Peter later moved to Minneota MN. He was the proud Co-owner/operator of HD2 pilot car services located in Taunton MN. Through hard work and the support of his partners in HD2 the company is and will continue to be a reputable and thriving success. Peter’s passions in life were custom cars, motorcycles, video games, his favorite team The Lions, and his two dogs: Molaki and Napali. Peter had recently reconnected with and begun a relationship with his father. Peter will be remembered for his creative ideas and charismatic charm. The examples of loyalty, perseverance, compassion and willingness to help anyone in need will be Peter’s legacy. His undeniably unique sense of humor and his dedication to those who were fortunate enough to have been blessed by his friendship are a great comfort.
Peter died on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at the result of a motorcycle accident in Marshall. He is survived by his children Maezyn and Zairek, father, Ronald Chrast, four aunts, several cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Haugen and all of his grandparents.
