RENVILLE – The Renville County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a one-vehicle crash at approximately 9:19 Friday evening near the intersection of County Road 15 and 220th Street, approximately 10 miles south of Renville. Upon arrival, emergency responders found five total occupants, one of which was unresponsive. The preliminary investigation indicates that the vehicle was traveling westbound on County Road 15 when the vehicle lost control in the curve, causing the vehicle to enter the south ditch where it struck a tree.
The vehicle was occupied by 18-year-old Dawson Jenniges of Tracy, Callie Burns of Wabasso, Anton Schueler of Renville, and two male juvenile passengers.
Anton Schueler was transported via Mayo Air Care with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Callie Burns was transported via ground EMS with injuries, but non-life-threatening. The driver, Dawson Jenniges and the two male juveniles were treated at the scene and cleared with no transport.
The Renville County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Minnesota State Patrol, Renville Police Department, CentraCare Ambulance Service, Renville Fire Department, Renville MRU, and Mayo Air Care. The crash remains under investigation.
