MARSHALL (KMHL) – The Minnesota Department of Transportation is set to begin work on Highway 68 between Marshall and Minneota next week.

MnDOT says the $9.2 million project will begin July 12th and a detour will be put into place around the area. MnDOT says the project will include shoulder widening and culvert replacement along an 11 mile stretch of Highway 68 that will run from North Grant Street in Minneota to the Redwood River in Marshall.

The detour will route traffic from Marshall along Highway 19 to County Road 5 for Ghent access and County Road 3 for Minneota access and a return to Highway 68.
