WILLMAR – A Marshall woman died in a two-vehicle collision with a semi in Kandiyohi County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 6:14 Saturday evening, a 2023 Peterbuilt Semi and a 2017 Honda Pilot collided in the intersection of Highway 40 and 45th Street SW in Kandiyohi County.
A passenger in the Honda, 51-year-old Bu Ko of Marshall, was taken to the CentraCare Hospital in Willmar where she died from injuries sustained in the accident.
The driver of the Honda, 27-year-old Kyan Day of Marshall, sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Another passenger in the Honda, 64-year-old Ku Paw of Marshall, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the CentraCare Hospital in Willmar.
The driver of the Peterbuilt, 33-year-old Roberto Rivero of Davie, FL, was not injured.
