KMHL NEWS       MARSHALL SCHOOL DISTRICT CHANGES COVID-19 PROTOCOLS                 9/23/21

MARSHALL (KMHL) – The Marshall School District has announced changes to its COVID-19 protocols. In a letter to parents, school district superintendent Jeremy Williams says effective today asymptomatic students who are considered close contacts of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 no longer need to quarantine at home, if they commit to wearing a mask for 10 days. In the letter, Williams says the district made the adjustment to protocols after a call with local health officials earlier this week. Williams adds that students who choose to wear a mask may also participate in activities. School officials are also providing take home COVID test kits to any staff and students who want one.  In the letter, Williams asks that parents whose kids are showing symptoms to please keep them at home.
