MARSHALL (KMHL) – The Marshall School board took a couple of big steps following approval of a bond referendum last week.
Last night, the school board canvassed the election results from last week showing that voters approved the referendum by a 62 to 38 percent margin.
The board also authorized selling $29.8 million in building bonds that will be dedicated for the project.
The plan will build a new elementary school near the site of the middle school to replace West Side Elementary and make safety and security upgrades at the district’s other buildings.
