MARSHALL (KMHL) – The Marshall Municipal Band will begin its 101st season of band concerts tonight at Marshall’s Liberty Park band shell.The Southwest Minnesota Men’s Chorus will make a special appearance to help kick off the concert season tonight. Concerts are every Wednesday evening through July 17th and all concerts are open to the public.
The chorus will perform selections from their Spring Concert Series – they have been regularly featured at the band concerts since 1967.
The band will play its usual fare of marches, show tunes, popular tunes and the occasional classical selection. The band will also hold the kid’s march (4th grade and under) tonight.
Tonight’s performance begins at 7:30 p.m.
