Marcella Rokeh, age 98, of Flandreau, South Dakota, formerly of Ivanhoe and Russell, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Edgewood Vista Assisted Living in Flandreau.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Bethany-Elim Lutheran Church in Ivanhoe, Minnesota, with visitation held one hour prior from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at church.  Interment will be in the Russell City Cemetery in Russell, Minnesota.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hartquist Funeral Home – Tyler Chapel.

Marcella Evelyn Rokeh was born on June 9, 1926 to Elias and Maria (Draeger) Moseng in Baxter Township, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She was united in marriage to Donald Rokeh on March 21, 1945 in Marshall, Minnesota. They lived many different places and farmed. They owned the Tullaby Lake Resort near Waubun, Minnesota which they operated for three years. Marcella passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Edgewood Vista Assisted Living in Flandreau, South Dakota.

Marcella was active in WELCA at Bethany-Elim Lutheran Church in Ivanhoe, Minnesota. She was also active in the VFW Auxiliary. She was famous for cooking and baking. She loved to have relatives and friends over for a visit at her home.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, David (Judy) Rokeh of Flandreau, South Dakota, James (Helen) Rokeh of Minneota, Minnesota, and Mary (Gary) Nordmeyer of Lake Benton, Minnesota; six grandchildren Tammie (Brian) Hammer, Tim (Lois) Rokeh, Jon (Beryle) Rokeh, Jason (Heather) Rokeh, Shanna (Jon) Worth, and Ross Nordmeyer; 13 great-grandchildren, Danielle Torgerson, Dana Hahn, Thomas Rokeh, Devon Boyles, Grace and Morgan Rokeh, Sawyer, Zeke, and Felix Rokeh, Will Worth, Rob Worth, and Tripp and Teagan Nordmeyer; and six great-great-grandchildren, Jaylyn and Masyn Torgerson, Drevyn, Torrah, and Everlee Hahn, and Oliver Rokeh. She was preceded in death by her her husband, Don; son, Marvin Moseng; her parents, Elias and Maria; one great-great-grandson, Nash Hahn; four brothers; five sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
