Visitation and funeral service for Luis Gerardo Rojas Juarez, 44, of Minneota, will take place from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at the Horvath Remembrance Center in Marshall. Interment will take place 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2021, at the Marshall Cemetery.
Luis was born on August 5, 1977, in Guatamala, to Eliceo and Marta (Juarez) Rojas. In January, 2001, he moved to Minnesota. Luis worked for Jennie O in Willmar for 7 years and then went to work for Buysse Farms in Ghent for the last 13 years. Luis enjoyed his work, especially with turkeys and driving the skid loader. He enjoyed to sing and play soccer. He also enjoyed going to church.
Luis died on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, as the result of a farm accident north of Ghent. He is survived by his parents, Eliceo and Marta of Guatamala, siblings Maria Rosario, Sandra, Fidelina, Eswin and Flor, daughter Miranda, girlfriend Alma Diaz and her children Jhessy, Jhosva and Jenny. Also survived by nieces and nephews Katy, JJ, Sammy and Chino and numerous friends and extended family.
