ST. PAUL (LEARFIELD) — An internal audit released Tuesday shows the Minnesota Department of Human Services violated laws designed to stop fraud.
The D-H-S failed to fully comply with state laws on awarding contracts and conflicts of interest. The specified violations encompassed D-H-S failures to follow guidelines created to stop bigger problems before they happened.
Several complaints led to the internal audit being conducted.
