The next monthly veterans coffee at the Lyon County Museum, 301 W Lyon St, Marshall is Tuesday, October 1 at 1:30 pm. The monthly coffee is open to all veterans. 9th Annual Food For Kidz Food Drive -Tyler
Tyler Alliance Church will be hosting it's 9th annual "Food For Kidz" food drive on October 13, 2024 at the "Rock" on main street in Tyler, MN. We will be packaging dehydrated food for different local and world needs. Last year our food went to local food shelves and was also shipped to Haiti for an orphanage. The Marshall American Legion Auxiliary Unit 113 will be having a Pillow Cleaning on Oct 23rd from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Wooden Nickel in Marshall. The proceeds benefit our Veteran’s programs. Used pillows will be cleaned, sanitized, and deodorized. The process takes only a few minutes. New pillows and comforters are also available. The SMSU Social Work Club will be out on Halloween collecting non-perishable food for the SMSU Mustang Market. Students will be around Marshall between 5-7pm on the 31st, if they stop by your home please contribute what you can to help end food insecurity on campus.
