Minnwest Bank in Marshall invites everyone to their celebration of June Dairy Month, on Friday, June 7th, 8 am - 5 pm. Stop into the bank and enjoy a free dish of Lingen Dairy Ice Cream.

The University of Minnesota Extension Lyon County Master Gardener Volunteer Program will be having their Plant Sale June 7th, 9 am - 2 pm, at the Marshall Area YMCA.  They'll be selling perennials, annuals, houseplants, vegetables, succulents, tomatoes, & seeds. Credit cards, cash, & checks accepted.

This will be the third annual drag show hosted by Marshall Pride, Saturday, June 8th @7 pm. Come check out an incredible night of performance, music, dance, and community. Featuring performers including crowd favorites like Dakota Hunter, Dixon Ice, Rose Nylon, Pippin Panic, and Jojo Venus Ninja! We look forward to welcoming some incredible new talent to Marshall's drag scene as well. And, of course, master emcee for the evening will be the lovely and talented Miz Diagnosis. June is pride month, and the Marshall community is invited to celebrate the annual Pride in the Park Sunday, June 9th, from 10 am - 4 pm. A family friendly event, enjoy the food trucks, vendor fair, mural painting with the Big Buddies Program, ceramic figure painting with artist Kelly Hager, and other arts & craft activities. Plus live music throughout the event from the Mad Hatters, Purpose Artisans, Nautical Moth, & the Marshall Area Stage Company! What better way to do so than by supporting Bridging Brown County during their first annual Networking Golf tournament on Tuesday, June 11th at the Springfield Golf Course. Check in is at noon, with a 1:30 pm shotgun start following. Format: 9-holes, four-person best ball. Monday, June 17th, head to Lincoln County VFW Post 2980 for a VFW Supper, serving from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Menu includes multiple options: Pork Chop Dinner - $15, Country Fried Steak - $12, Chicken Fried Steak - $12, & Beef Commercial - $10. Each option served with Irish potatoes, baked beans, salad, & bun.

Down the street and across the country, there are always patients in need of blood.
