OSCAR HOWE TRAVELING EXHIBIT AT THE PIPESTONE COUNTY MUSEUM The Pipestone County Historical Society is currently hosting The Oscar Howe Traveling Exhibit. This exhibit aims to bring Oscar Howe’s life and artistic legacy to community spaces across the region. The exhibit features eight banners that explore the artistic development and biographical details of the Yanktonai Dakota artist who helped to expand the definition and understanding of Native arts. The exhibit will be on display at the Pipestone County Museum from September 16-30. It will then travel to Pipestone Area Schools where it will be on display for students in the MS/HS [...]

It's Marshall Area Farmers' Market time, starting this Saturday July 5th thru October25th, and every Saturday, rain or shine, 7:30 - 12noon. Held in the Schwans' parking lot between Marvin Schwan Drive and Saratoga St. Musical entertainment for 10 weeks starting July 12th.   https://marshallfarmersmarket.org/

Visit the Marshall, Balaton, or Cottonwood Library every third Saturday and build with LEGO® bricks! Holidays and other events may change this schedule. Events at the Balaton and Cottonwood Libraries end by noon. Children in kindergarten through 5th grade (ages 6-11) are invited to participate. Each month has a different theme. Take the theme challenge, and we’ll show off your creations at the library!
