United Way of Southwestern Minnesota will be back at Hy-Vee for our bagging and giving back events this holiday season. Our first event is November 17th from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. Look for all our volunteers in their LIVE UNITED shirts. United Way of Southwest Minnesota (UWSWMN) is honored to be partnering with local businesses for Dine Local Help Local this fall. Come do a bit of Christmas shopping, pick up some sweet treats, and have a ton of fun at Hill Street Place's Holiday Bazaar! Friday, November 17th from 2-6 p.m. in the dining room of Hill Street Place in Marshall. There will e over 30 vendors. Cookies & cider will be served.

Join the Vesta Lions club at the Vesta Community Center (former school building) Friday, November 17th at 7:30 p.m. for some games of Bingo which you could win Hams and Turkeys from! There will be a light meal offered. Proceeds from the event will go towards community projects.

All holiday season long view decorated Christmas trees by area families, businesses, non-profit organizations, and service organizations inside at the Lyon County Museum. Vote for your favorite trees, just place money in a box located by each tree. The top 3 organizations/businesses with the most money in their boxes will win the 2023 tree walk. There will be a benefit held for Missy Torgerson November 18th from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Wood Lake Community Center .There will be a DJ playing music alongside soup & sandwiches, as well as baked goods for sale. It will be a free will donation. Missy was diagnosed July 24th, 2023 with invasive high grade bladder cancer, all proceeds from the event will go to Missy to help with her medical expenses.

Come on down to St. Edward's Catholic Church Sunday, November 19th 9:00 a.m. - Noon where the St. Edward's Knights of Columbus will be serving you an all you can eat French Toast & Sausage Breakfast. St. Edward's Catholic Church is located at 409 N Adams Street in Minneota, MN.

All archers are welcome to sign up for Beaver Creek Archers adult league on November 21st from 6-8 pm. League will start the week of November 26th it runs for 14 weeks.Youth league starts November 8th every Friday night 6-8 for ten weeks.For more information see attached flyer for both leagues.
