Southwest Minnesota State University will host a screening of the Luis Arguenta documentary film “The U Turn: A Transformational Journey” on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 6 p.m. in the Conference Center, lower level. There will be a question-and-answer session with Arguenta after the screening. Argueta is a film director and producer who has been telling transnational immigrant stories since 1977. He has worked as a commercial director, lecturer and teacher in the United States, Europe and throughout the Americas. Two of Argueta’s most notable awards have come in the last four years.
