Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 503 W Lyon St., Marshall, MN, United StatesSouthwest Minnesota Orchestra music director Dr. Daniel Rieppel presents Mozart Mania with special guest artist Risa Schuchter April 28th, 4:00 pm, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Guest artist Risa Schuchter is a violinist from Salzburg, Austria, Mozart's birthplace. Tickets available at the door, cost is $12 for adults, $5 for students, $25 for family.

9th Annual Hanley Falls Walk Against Cancer
The 9th annual Hanley Falls Walk Against Cancer will be May 4th at the Hanley Falls American Legion. There will be an 'In Honor of' and 'In Celebration of' walls ready for you to add photos of those who have fought cancer. A raffle will be going on as well, tickets available for $1 each, giving you a chance to win a variety of great prizes with a grand prize of a 1 night stay at Great Wolfe Lodge in Bloomington, MN. Pollock will also be served. Drive-up & to-go meals also available. Proceeds go towards supporting the Hanley Falls Firemen's Relief Foundation.
Wheels Across the Prairie Heritage Center Annual Meeting
Wheels Across the Prairie Museum 3297 US-14, Tracy, MN, United StatesThe annual meeting for the Wheels Across the Prairie Heritage Center will be at 1 p.m. May 5th. Keynote speaker Nancy Guertner will present at 1:30 pm. A member of the North Star Chapter(of Germans from Russia), Nancy was one of five editors of the chapter's two anthologies "Hollyhocks and Grasshoppers: Growing up German from Russia in America" & "Watermelons and Thistles: Growing up German from Russia in America" both published in 2018. Nancy contributed three essays to the first book, writing about her one-room school and a woman that homesteaded near her grandmother's farm.
