The Mayor and Staff will be on hand to answer questions and take suggestions! There will be a 2nd and 3rd City Coffee Hour. The 2nd will be Tuesday, October 10th, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Main Stay Café. The 3rd will be Tuesday, October 17th, 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at Hy-Vee.  

The city of Marshall and the Marshall-Lyon county library want you to experience the night sky of southwest Minnesota! Join professional meteorologist Mike Lynch, Monday, October 9th starting at 7:00 p.m. at Patriot Park. Mike will have giant telescopes aimed at planets, the moon, and distant galaxies. The event is free and open to the public, so bundle yourself up and enjoy the stars! Patriot park is located on Windstar Street between Scott St and Ellis Ave, South of MN 23 and west of US 59. There is a rain date for Wednesday, October 11th if inclement weather occurs.

Tuesday, October 10th 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Tracy Area High School in room 132 will be the Minnesota Safety Council's Defensive Driving 55+ 4-hour refresher course.  If you have taken a state approved, eight-hour defensive driving course in the past, you can renew your 10%, 3-year car insurance discount by taking this state-approved refresher course. There is no driving test and no written test, you will receive a certificate of completion to provide to your insurance company. Cost is 28$ and you must register by October 6th.

The Marshall Adult Community Center is excited to celebrate 35 years of opportunity for the older adult population in Marshall and the surrounding communities.
