Gold Star Family Program – LyonCoMuseum
Lyon County Museum 301 West Lyon Street, Marshall, MN, United StatesSaturday, January 20th at 2:00 p.m. will be the Gold Start Family Program presented at the Lyon County Museum. On June 19th, 1969, Thomas Bradley from Minneota was killed in action while serving his country in Vietnam. Deb Ahmann, Tom's sister, will share stories about her family and Tom's life and service. The presentation is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
Ham Dinner Fundraiser
Bethany Lutheran Church 103 W Laurel St, Arco, MN, United StatesA ham dinner fundraiser will take place Sunday, January 21st from 11 am to 1 pm at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Arco, MN. Both dine in and or to go is available for the dinner. The dinner will be a free will donation. The first $500 will be gifted to the Lincoln County relay for life. Menu includes: ham, mashed potatoes & gravy, candied carrots, stuffing, bar, bun and a beverage. The dinner is sponsored by Forever Jen Memorial Run Inc. The presentation will be given by traveling professor, American history story teller David Johnston.

Join in on the fun at Brau Brothers Brewing Co. for a five-course beer-pairing menu guided by Dusty Brau, January 26th. The event will also feature silent auction items, the prize vault, and the tapping of the Firkin. All funds raised will support the local work of the United Way of Southwest Minnesota. Annual Lambing Time Short Course & Bus Tour
Mark your calendar and plan to attend the 2024 Pipestone Lamb and Wool Program Lambing Time Short Course and Bus Tour which will be held on February 2nd and 3rd in Pipestone. We have an excellent program planned and we will be touring outstanding sheep operations. The program starts with Friday evening discussion from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday will begin at 8:00 a.m. with lambing time management and health topics. The afternoon will be spent touring and viewing two successful sheep operation. The program will conclude by 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Applebee's 1510 East College Dr., Marshall, MN, United States7th annual Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraiser to benefit Marshall Food4Kids will be Saturday, February 3 from 8:00 to 10:00 am at Applebee’s Marshall – 1510 E. College Dr.Pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, coffee, juice, and milk will be served. Adult tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Children 12 and under are $7 in advance and $8 at the door.Meals are available for take-out as well. 2024 Annual Rock Nobles Cattlemens Banquet

Lake Benton Benefit Breakfast Fundraiser
Lake Benton Community & Event Center 114 Center St S, Lake Benton, MN, United StatesJoin the Lake Benton Lions Club at the Lake Benton Community & Event Center Sunday, February 4th for a breakfast benefit. Serving will be from 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Menu includes pancakes, french toast, eggs, sausage, toast, coffee, & milk. Net proceeds from the event will go towards medical expenses for Austin and Katelyn Krumm's son, born January 14th. Crue Hayes was born at 30 weeks weighing 1lb 15oz and is expected to be in the ICU until the end of March.
