Pay it Forward January
Here is your opportunity to help out families in need at the Walsh Village/Ronald McDonald house at Avera McKennan in Sioux Falls, SD. They are in need of: individual size bottle water, individual size bottled juice, individually wrapped snacks - fruit snacks, granola bars, cereal bars, cookies, crackers, snack cakes, etc. You can drop off any item at the Porter Cafe in Porter,MN between 6a and 3p daily during the month of January.

The Southwestern Center for Independent Living invites you to join them via Zoom on Jan. 9th 1-2 pm and Jan. 10th 5-6 pm for their FREE disability etiquette using person-first language community education event! Vesta Lions Chili Feed
Vesta Community Center (old School) 320 East Centre Street, Vesta, MN, United StatesJoin the Vesta Lions at the Vesta Community Center (Old School) Wednesday, January 17th 5-7 p.m. for all you can eat Chili, Corn Bread, and Juice! The feed will be a free will donation. Proceeds from the event will go towards the 125th celebration of the village of Vesta.
Gold Star Family Program – LyonCoMuseum
Lyon County Museum 301 West Lyon Street, Marshall, MN, United StatesSaturday, January 20th at 2:00 p.m. will be the Gold Start Family Program presented at the Lyon County Museum. On June 19th, 1969, Thomas Bradley from Minneota was killed in action while serving his country in Vietnam. Deb Ahmann, Tom's sister, will share stories about her family and Tom's life and service. The presentation is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
Ham Dinner Fundraiser
Bethany Lutheran Church 103 W Laurel St, Arco, MN, United StatesA ham dinner fundraiser will take place Sunday, January 21st from 11 am to 1 pm at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Arco, MN. Both dine in and or to go is available for the dinner. The dinner will be a free will donation. The first $500 will be gifted to the Lincoln County relay for life. Menu includes: ham, mashed potatoes & gravy, candied carrots, stuffing, bar, bun and a beverage. The dinner is sponsored by Forever Jen Memorial Run Inc.
