Join together as a community with the Marshall Area YMCA for a memorial stair climb to pay tribute to the 343 FDNY firefighters lost on 9/11. This is an all-day, open event for the community. Happening Monday September 12 from 5am-9pm YMCA membership and registration not required. Participants can complete as little as one flight up to 110 flights of stairs, the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. Free Adult Pickleball Lessons! No prior experience necessary to try this fun and growing sport! Join us at the Legion Field Pickleball Courts in Marshall. Paddles and balls will be provided. Contact Dave at 507-829-8197 with questions. If rained out, lessons will be held at the Marshall Area YMCA. This event will take place on September 14th.

On Sunday, September 18th the St. Edward Catholic Church in Minneota will be hosting their Fall Festival. The event will go on from 11-1:30 pm and they have a great selection of dishes. There will also be a children's carnival from 10:30-1PM with a silent auction. Ticket prices include: adults 12$, kids ages 4-12 5$, and children 3 and under are free. On September 20th from 5—7 pm, the City of Marshall’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Commission will be hosting Marshall’s second Welcoming Week event at Justice Park. This event is focused on bringing people of all backgrounds together to build strong connections and affirm the importance of welcoming and inclusive places.
