Support the United Way of Southwestern Minnesota and pick whether Troy Deutz or Aaron Ziemer will walk through Marshall in a Gruffalo costume for the 2024 Gruffalo Walk. Donate towards Troy or Aaron and the one with the most donations at the end gets to watch the other don the Gruffalo. Donations from the 2024 walk go towards supporting the UWSWMN's Stuff the Bus program, providing school supplies to local K-12 students. The Marshall American Legion Auxiliary will be having a Pillowing Cleaning on May 21 from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Wooden Nickel in Marshall. The proceeds benefit our Veteran’s programs. Used pillows will be cleaned, sanitized, and deodorized. The process takes only a few minutes. New pillows and comforters are also available.
