The Wood Lake Fair is August 21-23 this year and you won't want to  miss it. There are various event going on that Monday through Wednesday including events such as Children's Tractor Pedal Pull, the Grand Parade, the Canyon Cowboy's Band, a scavenger hunt, and much more.

The Tracy Area Car Show is Sunday, August 27th. This event is hosted by The Wheels Across the Prairie Museum. Registration starts at 9:30 AM to 11 AM. The museum will be open from 11AM to 4PM. Awards will be at 3 PM and there will be tons of door prizes, cash prizes, food vendors, a live DJ, and so much more. All proceeds will go to Tracy Area Schools.

Join Hospice of Murray County in celebrating their Annual Rummage Sale on September 19th through the 23rd. This will be from 9 AM to 7 PM September 19-22 and on the 23rd 9 AM to noon at the Murray County Fairground in Slayton, MN.  

The Lions Club is having a Breakfast Fundraiser and Silent Auction on September 24th. They will be serving breakfast from 9:00 AM -12:30 PM at the Lake Benton Community and Event Center. There will be pancakes, french toast, eggs, sausage, toast, coffee, and milk. Net breakfast proceeds will go towards Lynn Meyer’s medical expenses. Lynn was recently diagnosed with stage 3 metastatic ovarian cancer and is scheduled to begin chemotherapy on August 10th.
