The 9th annual Forever Jen Memorial Motorcycle Run will be happening on Saturday, July 8th of 2023 at the Ivanhoe Liquor Store in Ivanhoe, MN. Registration is from 10:00AM to 11:00AM. Tracy Area Garden’s and Quilts Tour is set for July 12 in the Balaton/Garvin area. Our self guided tour is from 2-7:30 pm. Tickets will go on sale at 2 pm that day at Bitton's Roadhouse in Garvin on Hwy 59 and in Balaton at the Lakeside Park on Hwy 14 as well as at each site. The Milroy Irish are hosting the Pipestone A's in amateur baseball Wednesday, July 12th at 7:30 at the Irish Yard. Over 30 flavors of brats will be available for purchase. It's also Firefighter Night at the Yard, with the Milroy Fire Department showing off their firetrucks. Kids wearing their summer rec t-shirt will receive free admission and one free candy item from the concession stand. Fans will have the chance to get autographs from the players and run the bases after the game.

Help celebrate Walmart's Grand Reopening this Friday, July 14th at 9AM for a ribbon cutting ceremony and community celebration until 3 PM. Walmart has remodeled with department transformations and more time-saving services to make shopping better. At their grand reopening, Walmart will be hosting food trucks, a bounce house, and giveaways. Bring your family and friends to join the festivities!

This Saturday is the poker run hosted by the Currie Fire Department. ATVs, Side by Sides, motorcycles and vehicles are welcome. Registration begins at 11:30 at Roosters in Currie. Food is provided and a raffle drawing is set. Proceeds benefit the Currie Volunteer Fire Department.
