The St. Stephen Youth are hosting their annual cookie walk fundraiser on Saturday, December 3rd from 9am to 11am in the Fellowship Hall at St. Stephen Lutheran Church (1301 S. 4th St, Marshall). Mix and match your own variety of homemade Christmas baked goods (containers will be provided). Santa will be there so be sure to stop by and say hi while you find your Christmas goodies and support the youth fundraiser!  

The Danebod Lutheran Church W-ELCA, in Tyler Mn, will be hosting their annual "Sharing Christmas Traditions at Danebod" on Saturday, December 3rd. The schedule will go like this: 3-5Pm Christmas shoppes (danish coffee cake, baked goods, meats, and more), 3-4Pm Coffee in the lodge (Coffee, Cider and Coffeecake served), 4-6pm 3 meat supper, 6:15pm will be entertainment that includes "Hometown Christmas) and dancing around the tree. On Sunday, December 4th the Lake Benton Community and Event Center will be hosting a fundraising breakfast from 9am-12:30pm. On the Menu there will be: Pancakes, french toast, eggs, sausage, toast, coffee, and milk. Net proceeds will go to the Memorial Hill Cemetery.

On Sunday, December 4th the St.Leo Catholic Church will be hosting Jackpot Bingo. Warm up games will be at 12:30pm, and the Jackpot games will start at 1:30pm, Lunch will take place at noon. Jackpot winnings will be 200$ and 300$, 18-50$ games. Donations will be 15$ a ticket and this is handicap accessible. On Sunday, December 4th, from 1-5pm come to Hope Harbor for some Christmas cheer! There will be: Crafts for the kids, Christmas music, treats & cocoa, a tour of the home, and a chance to meet the staff and residents. Everyone is welcome with no cost, tickets, or RSVP needed. Come get your baked goods, on December 9th from 10am-3pm at the Cottonwood Community Center as the English Lutheran Ladies Aid Bake Sale will take place. There will be any baked good you think of along with ethnic foods, and a bbq lunch served on site.

On December 10th from 4-8pm at the Tracy Eagles, there will be a silent auction and BBQ meal to help cover medical expenses for A.J Johnson and his family. A.J was diagnosed terminal cancer, and all proceeds will go towards those previous expenses. Benefit AJ Johnson (1)

The Marshall Gymnastics team will be hosting an invitational at the Marshall middle school on Saturday, January 7th with the meet starting at 4pm. Marshall will be hosting 7 other teams all from Southwest Minnesota. Everybody is invited to come watch, and the team would love all the support they can get from our great community.

On Sunday, January 8th the Lake Benton Community Center will be hosting a Breakfast Fundraiser from 9am-1230pm.
