Certified Nursing Assistant Training
The Southwest Minnesota Private Industry Council in cooperation with Adult Basic Education and Marshall Area Technical & Educational Center have openings for adults to enroll in Nursing Assistant Training that will lead to a Certification from the MN Department of Nursing. The class Introduces concepts of basic human needs, health/illness and basic nursing skills. Introduction to home care. Including care of child, reporting procedures, caring for special populations, homemaking skills and hospice care in a nursing home. Halloween Family Fun Day at the Museum
Halloween Family Fun Day at the Museum is Saturday, October 30 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Lyon County Museum, 301 W Lyon St, Marshall. Free event. All kids dressed in costume will receive a treat bag. Activities include: Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt, Make & Take Crafts, Make & Take Coloring Activities, and $1.00 Orange or Root Beer Floats in the museum’s ice cream shop.
