Diane Marie Evers, 63, of Redwood Falls, passed away January 18, 2023 at her home in Redwood Falls. A Memorial Service will be held at later date. Arrangements are pending with Nelson-Hillestad Funeral and Cremation Service of Redwood Falls.
Diane Marie Evers, the daughter of Harley and Dolores (Gisch) Evers was born on January 25, 1959 in Comfrey, MN She lived on a farm in Selma Township, Cottonwood County south of Comfrey until moving into Redwood Falls in 1976. She attended Comfrey High School and Redwood Falls High School, graduating in 1977. Diane began working for Control Data in 1977 and worked over 40 years before retiring from Daktronics in 2019. She enjoyed spending time with her dog “Jilly”, gardening and crocheting afghans.
She is survived by her two brothers, Kenneth (Nancy) Evers of Cambridge, MN, Ronald Evers of Redwood Falls and a sister, Karen Evers of Portland, OR.; nephew, Randy (Melissa) Ebnet of Wabasso; niece, Kristine (Douglas) Goodrich of Marshall; and several great nieces and nephews. Diane was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Sharon Ebnet.
