COVID-19 case rate dips, as Lyon County sees local uptick

ST. PAUL (LEARFIELD/KMHL) — Over the last week the case positive rate for COVID-19 has continued to trend down.

The Minnesota Department of Health and state leaders say they keep a close eye on the percentage of COVID-19 tests delivered that come positive to watch for any spikes in case numbers.

There was a slight uptick in cases in Lyon County – health officials say there were 13 confirmed new virus cases reported over the weekend locally. In Lyon County there have now been 56 confirmed cases of the virus.
