CANBY — As summer approaches and school draws to a close, the Red Cross is calling on healthy, eligible blood donors to step up and contribute during April. With many regular donors unavailable due to vacation plans, maintaining an adequate blood supply becomes challenging.
To address this critical need, the Canby blood drive is scheduled for April 25th and 26th at the Sanford building. The Red Cross bloodmobile will be on-site from 1-7 pm on April 25th and 8 am – 1 pm on April 26th.
Appointments are essential for donation, but walk-ins may be accommodated if space permits or in cases of deferral or no-shows. To schedule an appointment, call Deloris at 507-223-7205 or 507-530-3476.
The community is urged to support this initiative, especially first-time donors, to ensure a robust blood supply for patients with serious medical needs.
